This was the theme of the second conference (The Inside Story). The conference was tremendous and held a theme of Their Story, My Story, Other’s Story and God’s Story. It started with an explosive 8 min video clip by “Gen X-er” LaDonna Witmer sharing “This is Who I Am”, and we were all rooted to the spot by the power of the message to just listen to the lost and unlovely. To hear “Their Story“ before we start to tell the story of God (the Good News). As I listen and hear them I can tell My Story and reference someone else’s story (Other’s Story), telling it well and accurately. And lastly we can bring God’ Story into all of this. It is such a easy process to remember and one we can easily remember as we meet people at work or casually in a café. And it all starts with listening to Their Story. Amazing how we can forget, isn’t it?
